Here are two methods to making a bouncing ball in flash.
The first is to animate by keyframes. I prefer this method because of the ease of control involved, and I think that by adjusting positions by hand gives the animation a much more relaxed and organic feeling.
Another method is to animate with one pair of keyframes and simply adjust the ease withing flash. This method seemed a lot more cumbersome, but is essential for things like games, or if you want to control the relationship between two objects (in the case of building a puppet, for example.)
